Twigs and Honey Wedding Dresses,Veils and Headpieces

I try at all times to champion independent designers. This mantra extends into every aspect of my life and I live by it.

So, I was charmed to discover this delightful website today. So inspired was I that I rushed home to write this post!

I hope you derive as much pleasure from these designs as I have.

Betula - Lace sleeved dress - a subtle nod to the Edwardian era and it just looks so comfortable and wearable, too. Perfection!

Viola - Tiered crinkle silk organza dress - 100% silk, hand-crinkled for a vintage effect.

The veils and head pieces are truly special and there is so much choice on the website.

Simple Cathedral length veil - probably my favourite. The tulle is so fine and creates a wonderfully ethereal finish.

French inspired bridal lace cap with veil with gorgeous organza flower detail. This cap style is very much in-keeping with the 1920s style - and the side veil detail is very Carrie Bradshaw. Well, if it's good enough for SJP...

Flapper inspired bridal headband - pearls and an ostrich feather combine to create Gatsby perfection.

Baby's Breath crystal hair vine - so simple but absolutely beautiful. Style with a gypsophilia boquet and flower arrangements to achieve a rustic theme just like Keira Knightley's recent wedding.

Myra Callan is the creative mind behind Twigs & Honey, which inititally specialised in unique bridal head pieces and accessories. She has now expanded into the wedding dress market. I'm spoiled for choice.
