Reader, he proposed!

After the initial engagement haze cleared, I realised that I had very little idea about what a wedding really entailed and I realised, too, that I'm probably not alone in this. Thus, my blog is born. 

For those of you who know me, I hope this will keep you up to date with my - OUR - progress, and for those of you who don't, I hope it provides you with some useful hints and tips and - if nothing else - the reassurance that there's someone else experiencing the same sense of excitement and bewilderment.
